Waiting for the POTUS to tweet decrying this blatantly sloppy piece of fair and balanced journalism...

I am shocked I say, Shocked!
What’s amazing (and hilarious) though is the number of folks who now support the Eagles because of this drama when they wouldn’t dream of it any other day.

Coach Trump’s only regret is that he can’t have an entire squad of Stormies cheering him whenever he enters or exits the White House. Topless, of course...

The reference is entirely lost on me. Is that Mr. Deflategate?
Anyhow, it’s President Obama’s fault.

Do you want to get you car vandalized? Because that’s how you get your car vandalized.
I am personally against putting any stickers on my car -Political, religious, Lifestyle, Pop Culture or even Automotive, not even using a personalized license plate because it attracts unwanted attention IMO.

Except for Oppo stickers.
No, I wouldn’t put CK’s sticker on my car either because I see it exactly as you do. My statement was
hyperbole
.

This is why I get bumper stickers for other people’s cars. There may or may not be more unaware Bernie Sanders fans in NJ.

My uncle who’s a die hard trump fan put a Trump/Pence sticker on the back window of my truck last year “as a joke” while we were at our hunting cabin. So I put four 9mm rounds through the Trump/Pence yard sign he put out and told him “I made your sign great again”. You do NOT mess with another person’s vehicle. Might as well take a leak on their rug while they’re at it.

Please tell me this was drawn sarcastically...

Pretty soon they’re not going to play football any more, they’re just going to have teams going out there to have huge political arguments, and at the end of the season, they’ll have the Hyper Bowl.
(I know it’s not pronounced that way...)
![]() 06/05/2018 at 13:57 |

And I won’t take any interest in any of
those
games, either. An entire industry built on the backs of exploited (mostly of color) men to make a few white men rich. The fans
pay
to advertise for them by buying their team branded kitsch. Taxpayers fund expensive stadium deals. Pass.

Most everyone’s getting rich, but the players do pay a heavy cost later in life. One could argue that the NCAA is the bigger exploiter. Definitely agree that having taxpayers pay for stadiums is asinine, but look at the tax breaks they offer to Google, Amazon, etc. to move into the state or city. I don’t see it changing.

It’s not satire to his rabid supporters though.
![]() 06/05/2018 at 14:38 |

Are Google/Amazon a fair comparison here? Thousands of employees, no traumatic brain injuries, no expensive stadiums sitting unused.
![]() 06/05/2018 at 14:55 |

Not defending the NFL, just saying cities/states are desperate to bring in more jobs and/or visitors, however they think they can (and however optimistic the projections).
![]() 06/05/2018 at 14:58 |

I didn’t take it that way. I thought exploring a comparison between the two was interesting.
![]() 06/05/2018 at 15:05 |

I’m guessing most Google and Amazon employees are treated very well, but I’m sure many of the box-fillers at Amazon’s fulfillment centers long for a better job.
![]() 06/05/2018 at 15:50 |

Box fillers. I have a friend at church who works for Tesla in Fremont as a lead on the assembly line. Starting pay is $19/hr with differentials of 10-15% for working swings, being a lead, et cetera. And benefits. But there’s lots of turnover because the work is too demanding and workers are either lazy or not smart enough.
![]() 06/05/2018 at 16:04 |

I don’t consider myself lazy or not smart enough, but there’s no way I’d last on an assembly line...
![]() 06/05/2018 at 16:13 |

Same. And you probably wouldn’t try. They can’t keep employees.
![]() 06/05/2018 at 16:28 |
|
I’d try if I was desperate, and had mouths to feed, and it was the best option I had.
![]() 06/05/2018 at 17:03 |

I’d go straight to Tesla. I have a bunch of tech skills also that might help me find something higher paying. But it’s all about overtime there right now and I’m a little old for that.
